Liberia, San José, then Chinampas
The hometown is Chinampas. Sámara is fifteen minutes down the mountain when you want the beach — not the address on the gate.
From Liberia (LIR): roughly a two to two-and-a-half hour drive. From San José (SJO): four to four-and-a-half hours. We can arrange a private transfer from either airport.
Sámara Beach is fifteen minutes by car. Playa Carrillo is about twenty-five. You get the Nicoya coast without sleeping in the beach town.
The last stretch is mountain road. 4x4 helps in the wet months. Tell us your flight and we will meet you with the transfer.
